As an attorney, we are notorious for trying to do everything because we like control… I fit that stereotype to a T. But over the last year I have realized it doesn’t have to be that way. Enter Danielle. Danielle and I spoke at a seminar earlier this year and I was really intrigued with what she offers. We are in the same networking organization but not the same “team” so we set up a 121 to get to know one another. Wow, I’m so glad I did!! We got to talking about how I was struggling with booking consults 3-4 weeks out and then people were cancelling because they had found someone who could fit them in sooner. I have been very lucky to have consistent work since forming my own law firm and it was really scary for me to start seeing the cancellations. I knew something needed to change but I didn’t know what. I was mentioning this very concern to Danielle and she posed such a simple question to me “why don’t you hire an associate?” The rest is history. She’s helped me see the need to hire staff to take things off my plate that don’t belong there (and that allow me to focus on the stuff that really does need my attention!) and take a deep dive into the firm’s profitability. I am SO happy I found her and can’t wait to continue working with her to streamline some of our processes to increase productivity and profitability for me and my staff!
